I grew up in a loving family that regularly attended church, I knew about God and His awesome power, but I didn't know Him personally.

Despite having success both on and off the football field, my life lacked peace and meaning. I searched for this in relationships, money and alcohol, but I didn't find it. God showed me that the only way to find these things is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This begins by putting your trust in Jesus. We have all fallen short of God's standards, and only by accepting Christ's death on the cross as payment for our sins can we have forgiveness.

Now that my faith is in Jesus, He has given me strength to live a victorious life. He helps me to overcome struggles with pride, anger, fear and lust, and it helps me to be the best football player I can be. The more I trust in Him, the more I feel an overflow of peace, joy and meaning in life.
