Jackie Harris

My early life was crowded. There were nine kids in the family and I was number seven. Mom was a single parent committed to having us in church. My older brother, Freddie, had a big influence on me.

The summer before my eighth grade Christ became real. Freddie had a peace in his life and a confidence in God. That was when I understood my need for Christ and began to follow Him. There were many changes. I knew that God was real. I knew Jesus was my Savior and I wouldn’t go through judgment because He died for my sins.

Letrece, my wife, has been a great help. She came from a Christian home and has contributed so much. My ambition is to leave a godly legacy for our three boys. I want to be an influence for Christ long after I am gone.
