Anthony Johnson I've always been a carefree person, dealing pretty easily with whatever happens in life. My dad died at age six and my mom remarried and added kids, making our family nine strong. But nothing seemed to heavy. My dad and mom both accepted Christ shortly before his death, and we started going to church. I prayed to receive Christ at age eight—drifted away for a few years in high school when God seemed rather distant—but was then brought back. I realized that I was walking according to the sinful nature instead of walking in the light and living in a manner consistent with the new person I was inside. God has given me joy. I now continually experience a peace that surpasses all understanding. He has given me wisdom over the years as I've asked for it, free of doubt. He has helped me to go deeper in life as I've learned who I am through the knowledge of the truth. The ultimate truth is Jesus (John 14:6).
