I had a personal relationship with God as a child, but my talk didn't always match my walk. There were things that I did that were not consistent with what God desires—actions of which I am not too proud. Yet even when looking back on those experiences, I can see how God was at work in my life in spite of my poor choices—protecting, guiding, and shaping me into the person He wants me to be.

I am still learning. Each day God reveals to me more of His plan for my life. He loves me and never leaves my side. Even in times of hardship, I know that I can trust God because He never fails. I am not perfect, and I never will be, but I know that I will always be successful as I strive to do my best and give everything over to God.
