Digital Takawira

I grew up in a family that went to church every Sunday, yet I never knew the purpose for doing so. I heard about God and always believed that He existed, but in my mind He didn't seem much different than a person who had lived long ago.

After I came to Kansas City, I met an Athletes in Action staff member who told me about his life and the person of Jesus Christ, and explained how I also could commit my life to the Lord. I chose to do so, inviting Christ into my heart by faith through prayer. I now know the truth of who God is and I know that while everything on earth will soon come to an end, those following Christ will spend eternity with Him.
